HSDC is looking for a Lecturer/Teacher of Automotive Studies to deliver inspirational teaching, learning, and assessment, ensuring excellent student success and progression. You will collaborate with a team of passionate professionals in a well-equipped college and benefit from excellent working conditions. The current course offerings include Entry Level, Levels 1 and 2, T Levels, and Apprenticeships, with both full-time and part-time options.
Responsibilities
- Planning effectively and delivering high quality teaching, learning, assessment and support, leading to excellent attendance, retention and achievement.
- To deliver formal scheduled teaching duties, tutorials (as appropriate) and student assessment.
- To record, share and regularly monitor student progress using College information systems.
- To prepare learning plans schemes of work, keep relevant records and undertake all administration relevant to teaching duties.
- To attend parents\’ evenings, marketing and promotional events.
Requirements
- Level 5 or equivalent Teaching Qualification such as Certificate in Education or PGCE or willingness to work towards this.
- High level of specialist knowledge of the subject area
- At least 2 years\’ experience in teaching the subject area to full-time or part-time students (Desirable).
- Degree in relevant subject (Desirable)
