Responsibilities Ensure all shipboard mechanical/ electrical machinery and navigation electronics are operated and maintained in a safe, efficient manner.
Have full budgetary responsibility of assigned vessels – ensuring they are always operational, safe, and efficient.
Ensure planned vessel inspections are carried out, including preparation of the vessel for appropriate class/flag inspections.
Take the lead on ensuring everyday maintenance & physical repairs, dry docks – and ensuring this work is carried out to the required industry standards.
Be a Technical Vessel expert to support land-based, and on-board personnel.
