The below job description will outline this position of: Orbital Welder Typically, this person will be performing precision welding on components and control systems used in the subsea industry, using specialised orbital welding equipment to achieve welds to strict industry standards. HSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity. Duties and responsibilities of the Orbital Welder: Prepare and set up welding equipment, including orbital welding machines, power supplies, and gas systems Ensure all necessary materials, such as pipes or tubes, are clean, properly aligned, and ready for welding. Program and calibrate orbital welding machines based on specific project requirements Adjust welding parameters, such as current, voltage, and rotation speed, to achieve the desired weld characteristics. Operate orbital welding equipment to perform high-precision welds on a variety of materials, including stainless steel and exotic alloys. Qualifications and requirement for the Orbital Welder: Certifications in orbital welding or relevant welding processes may be required Experience as an orbital welder or similar role, with a strong emphasis on the use of AMI welding equipment and autogenous and wire feed welding processes This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
