The below job description will outline this position of Senior Conference Producer – Maritime Industry. Typically, this person will:
- Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of high-profile international maritime conferences, managing projects from initial concept through to live event delivery.
- Manage international conference projects from concept to delivery, including onsite management at UK and overseas events.
- Research, develop and produce high-quality, commercially viable conference programmes aligned with industry trends.
- Secure senior-level speakers, moderators and key industry stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, partners, advisory boards and supporting associations.
- Work collaboratively with marketing, sales and operations teams to drive delegate attendance and sponsorship revenue.
- Identify new conference themes, growth opportunities and future event concepts.
- Manage conference budgets, timelines and operational delivery to agreed deadlines.
Qualifications and requirements for the Senior Conference Producer:
- Proven experience in conference production or events management (essential).
- This role is based in the office (No Hybrid).
- Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Strong research and analytical capability.
- Self-motivated team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Second language and full driving licence desirable.
