Duties and responsibilities of the Welding/Fabrication Forman:
Supervise welders, fabricators, and sub contractorsEnsure work meets quality, safety, and programme requirementsManage RAMS, permits to work, and safe systems of workMonitor progress, costs, and report issues to managementOrder materials, consumables, and plant as requiredMaintain housekeeping, tool control, and staff disciplineSupport site surveys and assist with quotationsTravel to sites and participate in on-call duties when required
Qualifications and requirements for the Welding/Fabrication Forman:
Minimum 5 years experience in marine or civil engineeringPrevious experience supervising welding/fabrication teamsAbility to read technical drawings and specificationsStrong organisational and communication skillsFull UK Driving LicenceWillingness to travel
