Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers: ensuring satisfaction, managing orders, anticipating needs, and supporting retention and repeat business.
  • Representing the company at meetings, site visits, boat-yards, trade-shows and other relevant industry events in your region.
  • Presenting and promoting the company's product range; understanding customers' requirements and recommending appropriate products.
  • Achieving and exceeding agreed sales targets and performance metrics for your territory as set out between yourself and the sales director.
  • Reporting on market trends, customer feedback, competitor activity and regional opportunities to senior management.
  • Providing after-sales support as needed: assisting with order placement, product enquiries or issue resolution.
  • Working pro-actively, managing a sales pipeline, following up leads and converting prospects to clients.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • A strong sales background, ideally with experience in field sales, B2B or marine/marine-related products (or a willingness to learn the marine sector).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently — comfortable with home-based work and travelling frequently throughout the assigned territory.
