Position: Marine Engineer Job ID: 1480/4 Location: Chichester Rate/Salary: Up to £40,000 Dependant on experience Type: Permanent / Full Time Benefits: Good Benefits We are looking for a Marine Engineer / Marine electrical engineer for an established business that offer unprecedented Engineering, Refits & Repairs and Yacht Care Services along the South coast. This role is based in Chichester. As a marine engineer you will be working on site, you will carry out all aspects of marine works on various vessels – your work will predominantly be installing, servicing, repairing or overhauling inboards and outboards, some controls, HVAC & propulsion units (stern/leg drives). Duties and responsibilities of the Marine Engineer: • Repairs, Servicing, Maintenance and Commissioning of marine engines, controls, HVAC & propulsion units based in the field and workshop • Full workshop overhaul and repairs of marine engines to manufacturer’s standards • Carry out new machinery and equipment installations • Compile parts lists for work in progress for quotations and assist parts department with parts selected for jobs • Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed correctly • Work is mostly carried out along the South Coast (within 20 miles of site), however from time to time it may be necessary to travel further afield and overseas Qualifications and requirement for the Marine Engineer: • Marine Engineering Qualification desirable • Full UK Driving Licence JBRP1_UKTJ
