HSB Technical Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Welding / Fabrication Foreman to join a reputable engineering business based in Avonmouth. HSB Technical's client is an established and well-regarded business entity.
Duties and responsibilities of the Welding/Fabrication Foreman:
- Supervise welders, fabricators, and sub contractors
- Ensure work meets quality, safety, and programme requirements
- Manage RAMS, permits to work, and safe systems of work
- Monitor progress, costs, and report issues to management
- Order materials, consumables, and plant as required
- Maintain housekeeping, tool control, and staff discipline
- Support site surveys and assist with quotations
- Travel to sites and participate in on-call duties when required
Qualifications and requirements for the Welding/Fabrication Foreman:
- Minimum 5 years experience in marine or civil engineering
- Previous experience supervising welding/fabrication teams
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willingness to travel
