HGV Driver Dartford £35,000- £39,000 Depending on Experience - UK work permit mandatory HSA Transportation LTD is a vibrant young company. With our depot based in Gravesend, DA11. We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team. In this role you will be collecting and delivering preloaded trailers to various local sites. PAY ONLY Long term ongoing work. Inductions/Assessments available immediately. Shift Patterns: Various shift patterns available Average shift length 8 – 12 hours Days / Afternoon / Night shifts available Full time / Part time Must be available to work one weekend day per week Truck Driver Benefits Benefits: Truck Driver is not required to assist with any unloading/loading. Driving only from fulfilment centre to fulfilment centre Traction work only– drop/swap trailers. On average 3 swaps per shift, working with boxed trailers only Paid for full shift regardless Flexible Working hours 28 days paid holidays Company pension On-site Parking Over time available each week We have access to the latest truck technology both on safety and sustainability There is a great culture of inclusivity and support for diversity HGV Driver Requirements Beneficial experience working with Amazon Trucks Requirements: Hold a valid commercial Driving License with the Correct Categories C+E Have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card Pass a background check (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law Pass a standard drug and alcohol test (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law Be able to speak & read English satisfactorily Have a maximum of 6 penalty points in the Driver’s License (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements) Approved drivers consist of drivers with BGC results as “Meets Requirements” and drug and alcohol tests with negative results
