Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Tracheostomy Healthcare Assistant with British sign language qualification to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in a care home setting. This position requires a commitment to supporting individuals with their daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. A valid driving licence is preferred, as some roles may involve transporting residents. Duties and further information: * Tracheostomy and British sign language qualification * 17 young person with a tracheostomy and ventilated 24/7 with no respiratory drive who will be attending college * She is also deaf and has a PHB with staff who are competent in BSL to support her, however, she will be resident overnight at college from Monday morning until Friday afternoon in term time for a 2 year period while she is at college. * We are looking for a sleeping night carer who is able to support a competent carer should there be an issue and can help with a tracheostomy change. BVVL – Brown-Vialetto-Van Laere Syndrome Dysphagia Severe neurogenic hearing loss General weakness, predominantly wrists, ankles and neck. * Reduced vision, wears glasses and attends the low vision clinic at Morefields
