Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nurse Prescriber to join our ADHD clinic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in mental health nursing, specifically in the treatment and management of ADHD. As a Nurse Prescriber, you will work alongside our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and prescribing for patients diagnosed with ADHD.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with suspected or diagnosed ADHD.\\n\\n * Prescribe appropriate medication in line with treatment guidelines and patient needs.\\n\\n * Monitor and review the effectiveness of prescribed medication, making adjustments as necessary.\\n\\n * Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.\\n\\n * Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding ADHD and treatment options.\\n\\n * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.\\n\\n * Stay current with best practices, new treatments, and developments in ADHD care.\\n\\nEssential Qualifications & Skills:\\n\\n * Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC registration.\\n\\n * Nurse Prescriber qualification (V100, V150, or equivalent).\\n\\n * Experience in the assessment and management of ADHD, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.\\n\\n * Knowledge of ADHD treatment guidelines and prescribing protocols.\\n\\n * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.\\n\\n * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a caseload effectively.\\n\\n * Passion for working with patients with ADHD and making a positive impact on their lives.\\n\\nDesirable Qualifications & Experience:\\n\\n * Experience in a mental health or ADHD clinic setting.\\n\\n * Familiarity with ADHD treatment for both children and adults.\\n\\n * Additional qualifications in mental health nursing or child and adolescent mental health (CAMHS)
