Balfour Beatty VINCI is HS2’s construction partner in the Midlands, responsible for delivering 90km of the route, from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.

- Current Opportunity
- Materials Technician Apprentice - Level 3
- Role Responsibilities
- Undertaking testing on materials including aggregates, concrete and asphalt in accordance with required standards.
- Complying with the high standards of works required by the Quality Management Systems within important deadlines.
- Maintaining equipment to an excellent standard as required by the Laboratory Manager.
- Proactively communicate with senior staff to ensure effective communication and flow of information.
- Attending training courses and assessments as required.
- Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office, particularly in Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Forms and Share Point.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Adaptable to work in a fast pace environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence is required.
