Balfour Beatty VINCI is HS2’s construction partner in the Midlands, responsible for delivering 90km of the route, from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire. Current Opportunity: Scaffold Assurance Supervisor
Location: Based in Birmingham - the Central Region runs from the east of Birmingham into the city centre, comprising Sublot Delta, 1B, 4 and 5S. More than 50% of the structures within IPT Area North are located in the Central Region. This region, which covers a complex urban environment, also includes the 3.5 mile twin bore Bromford Tunnel. It also includes Interchange Station, as well as crossing three major highways (A45, M6 and M42).
The Scaffold Assurance Supervisor will work closely with the H&S teams across the Central East area of the project. Will be responsible for ensuring all scaffolding and work at height activities across the project or region are erected, modified, inspected, and dismantled in accordance with relevant legislation, industry standards, and company procedures. The role ensures scaffolding safety, compliance, and quality through regular inspections, assurance checks, coaching, and liaison with supervisors, contractors, and site management.
