Base salary: £32,050pa to c.£36,700pa depending on skills and experience. In addition, we offer a flexible benefits fund of 15% paid on top of the base salary and is fully pensionable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain fraud reporting dashboards and KPIs to track key performance indicators such as fraud detection rates, investigation times, fraud losses, and other relevant metrics.
  • Prepare regular and ad‑hoc reports for management and stakeholders, providing insights into fraud trends, performance against targets, and the effectiveness of fraud prevention and detection controls.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing fraud detection and prevention controls, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new fraud detection and prevention strategies based on data analysis and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with other members of the fraud team, including fraud and ethics investigators to share information, coordinate efforts, and support investigations.
  • Collaborate with IT and data management teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility for analysis and reporting.
  • Actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all work, supporting and complying with organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.

Skills

  • Reporting – able to analyse complex data sets and translate them into engaging, user‑friendly reports, visualisations, dashboards and presentations.
  • Strategic Thinking – able to overlay reporting with commentary and recommendations, including proposed next steps for action.
  • Stakeholder Management – able to manage and engage a broad range of stakeholders effectively.
  • Communicating and Influencing – able to present data verbally and in person, telling compelling stories based on data analysis and insights.
  • Data Analysis & Management – able to use data quality and assurance techniques, processes and analysis.

Knowledge

  • Software knowledge.
  • PowerBI or equivalent for data analysis and visualisation.
  • Microsoft Office suites.
  • Understanding of data analysis techniques and statistical concepts.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and purchase ledger systems.

Type Of Experience

  • Experience of data management, data reporting and data quality & assurance experience throughout a project lifecycle.
  • Experience of working with open formats to enable data interoperability and encourage a software‑agnostic approach.
  • Experience of working within set standards, processes and systems with an expectation to contribute to decision‑making on process improvement.
