Your primary mission is to be one of the main digital marketing components in BMG's catalogue team in the UK - leading campaigns and activations, while reporting into the Director, Digital Marketing Catalogue. You will be responsible for digital marketing campaigns for a diverse array of artists and projects. You'll need to build innovative social media strategies, book digital advertising campaigns and help with the logistics of how an artist appears online. You'll play a pivotal role on a global digital team that aligns closely with colleagues in digital sales, streaming and YouTube both locally and internationally and should have a deep understanding of rock, hip hop, pop, dance, etc. music.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital marketing campaigns and strategy, including social media and digital activations.
  • Forming strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Constantly liaising and communicating with product managers and marketing team for local and international catalogue.
  • Consistently liaising and communicating with digital sales colleagues to deliver aligned strategies.
  • Contributing to the global digital marketing team with learnings, developments and experiences.
  • Intermediate creative, analytic, communication and presentation skills.
  • Working with some general music industry related data and analytic tools (Chartmetric, Tubular, OCC, Nielsen, etc.)
  • Adhering and contributing to the overall UK digital marketing strategy.
  • Working with and managing creative talents and their managements.

Your Profile:

  • In-depth understanding of popular music and its history.
  • Previous experience in digital marketing preferably in the music industry.
  • Practical and organized, and know some music industry tools for analytics, smart-linking, advertising, social posting, etc.
  • Technical understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, SNAP, Reddit, etc.
  • Some experience and understanding with image and video editing, ideally Adobe Suite programs like Photoshop and Premiere.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience working with an advertising team and an understanding of general advertising best practices.
  • Respectful, honest and confident communication skills, happy to work within a team and manage others.
