Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and hardworking Yard Operative to join our Portsmouth site. Salary: £13 per hour

- Previous scrap yard, recycling or site experience is preferred but not essential

Job Description:
As a Yard Operative, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our busy recycling yard, helping to ensure materials are processed efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.
As Yard Operative, you would be expected to:
- Process and sort materials
- Perform general manual handling duties
- Direct drivers entering and leaving the site
- Communicate site health and safety procedures and operating instructions
- Liaise with colleagues and other site personnel
- Assist the Yard Manager with daily operational activities
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Support the wider team to ensure smooth yard operations
