At Ensera Design we select a number of brilliant students to join our team for a variety of work placements. Previous interns with Ensera Design have gone on to work in amazing careers, and many of them are part of the Ensera Design team now. This opportunity is for a year in placement internship (starting September 2026) working as a member of our Finance team. Throughout the placement you’ll apply your skills to assisting with purchase ledger and general finance administration. You’ll be given the opportunity to gain valuable experience and a deeper understanding of the finance processes within an award-winning consultancy, and benefit from being part of a small dynamic finance team. You’ll have the chance to develop systems and Excel skills during your placement and can build relationships with influential and experienced Ensera Design staff.

About you

You’ll be partway through your accountancy (or similar) degree, or, alternatively, recently qualified and looking for professional placement to complement your studies. You’ll be enthusiastic, eager to learn and ready to apply your academic knowledge to real challenges. You’ll be able to work the majority of the time from the central Bristol office; our flexible working policy ensures flexibility when you need it, but we see the benefit of being around the Finance team to build relationships and develop your craft.

Your skills and experience

  • Interest in pursuing a career in accountancy/finance
  • Knowledge/experience in finance administration and basic accounting processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with staff and third parties in a professional and ethical manner
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

We currently pay all our interns the National Living Wage.
