Overview
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Learning and Care Support Assistant to coordinate the provision of specialist support for students with profound and complex needs. Working closely with other team members and curriculum staff, you will design, develop and implement Individual Care Plans, risk assessments and Individual Support Plans. You will also line manage a team of Learning and Care Support Assistants and ensure the completion of relevant administration.

- Line manage a team of Learning and Care Support Assistants and oversee related administration.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Trained in Manual Handling, First Aid, Safe Administration of Medication, Epilepsy, Anaphylaxis, Dysphasia and Diabetes including the safe administration of Insulin.
- Experience providing specialist support for young people and sound knowledge of effective support and intervention strategies for learners with Profound and Complex SEND.
- Experience assessing children/young people to identify individual needs; good understanding of the range and types of interventions available.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills; ability to liaise effectively with staff across the College; ability to lead a team effectively.
Location and Hours
The initial primary location for this role will be Uxbridge Campus; however the post holder will be required to work at Hayes Campus and Barra Hall, Hayes as required.
Hours are 36 hours per week, 40 weeks per year to cover term times.
