Role Overview

Reporting to the Assistant Principal for Quality and Curriculum, you will lead a team of curriculum and support staff, and will be responsible for the full range of provision on full and part time courses, including managing the quality of the provision. You will lead on development planning in the area, including supporting the team with preparations for qualification changes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or equivalent and a minimum of Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector
  • A skilled practitioner in teaching, learning and assessment with a Business, Sport, Travel or Catering specialism, and experience of implementing strategies to improve attendance and retention
  • Specialist knowledge and experience in Business, Sport, Travel or Catering, including knowledge of curriculum developments and recent initiatives
  • Understanding and practical application of inclusive learning strategies and a proven commitment to equality and diversity
  • Successful experience of managing a team, including coaching and developing staff
  • Experience of managing change and implementing new initiatives including curriculum developments

Compensation

£53,656 to £60,082 inclusive of London Weighting
