Our client is a leader in their field and due to continued growth, have an exciting new role. They are seeking a driven and results-oriented Customer Development Executive to manage and grow their regional wholesale partnerships. This role is key to driving sales performance, expanding market presence, and delivering exceptional service to their AFH partners. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and wholesale accounts, ensuring strategic alignment and sales growth.
This role will have 2 primary focuses:
- With an existing base of 50+ customers, ensuring they have maximum distribution and rate of sale.
- Bringing in new Wholesale partners to distribute their brands.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Grow existing account base (rate of sale and listings)
- Win new wholesale partners via regional buyer groups
- Regain any lapsed customers
- Manage our existing customer base at head office level, drive growth by unlocking new distribution and rate of sale opportunities.
- Track and identify any lapsed customers, ensuring regular ordering across the range.
- Support the wider Out of Home team on processes including trackers, invoicing and rate of sale.
- Attend and drive distribution via trade shows and RARA days across all AFH customers.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience within wholesale buying groups preferable
- Understanding of the Out of Home market
- Strong commercial capability, able to demonstrate ability to drive growth
- A proven track record of account development
- A natural people person – great communicator, internally, externally, multi-level and cross functional
- Extremely well organised, great attention to detail and willing to work hard
- High level of tenacity and creativity to seek out new opportunities to drive growth
