Campaign Asset Checklist Assistant

Office Administration Marketing Support Remote
Full-time or part-time | £30.50-£32.50 per hour

A marketing team may have the words for a campaign, an approved image and a destination link, but those parts still need to be together before a colleague can publish anything. The Campaign Asset Checklist Assistant keeps track of the supplied pieces for routine online campaigns. You would check an assigned request against the team's list, place approved files where they can be found and identify what is missing.

The role is remote administration supporting a marketing process, not responsibility for campaign strategy or results.

What a complete handoff contains

An assigned campaign item may need a final text file, a named image, a link and the name of the person who approved them. You would not decide that an image is 'close enough' to an approved one, substitute a different link or publish the material without authority. If two versions arrive, you would ask which is current and mark the earlier one appropriately under the team's procedure. Your finished handoff allows a colleague to see the agreed materials and any remaining question without searching several email chains.

This work is often about the condition of incoming information. A request may be well prepared and take only a few checks. Another might refer to an asset that is missing or a link that leads to a different page. You would note the exact gap and ask the responsible person for it. You should not create marketing copy to fill a blank field unless that is separately assigned and approved. Good office administration makes the creative team's work easier by keeping instructions, files and statuses clear.

The timing of a replacement matters as much as the filename. If a revised image appears after an earlier set was handed to the publishing colleague, you would tell that colleague that the set has changed. You would check whether the new file is the approved replacement and update the checklist accordingly. A new asset sitting silently in a folder does not prevent the older version from being used. The record should make the current version clear without asking anyone to compare multiple nearly identical files by sight alone.

Before marking an item ready, look for:

  • A named source for the final words, rather than a draft copied from an old email.
  • A current file for each required image or document.
  • The intended destination for a button or link.
  • A clear indication of who may approve or publish the assembled material.

If one component is missing, keep that gap visible instead of treating the folder as complete because most assets are present.

What you could handle

  • Read an approved campaign request and identify its required components.
  • Compare supplied files with the titles and versions listed in the request.
  • Check that a destination link opens and points to the intended page.
  • Place assets in the correct shared online location using the team's naming rules.
  • Mark a missing image, text file or approval as outstanding.
  • Ask a precise follow-up question instead of searching for an unapproved substitute.
  • Keep the checklist current as the missing pieces arrive.
  • Hand the completed set to the person responsible for publishing.
  • Record a changed file or link so the next person knows which version to use.

Although this role supports marketing, customer service habits are valuable. A recipient of a campaign should be taken to the page the message describes, and a misleading link can create unnecessary enquiries. You are not being asked to analyse conversion rates, run advertising budgets or promise campaign performance. Your contribution is orderly preparation that allows someone else to publish the intended material accurately.

You may use shared folders, spreadsheets, a task board and a web browser. The employer will teach its checklist, approval path and online systems. Prior marketing or office administrative experience is a bonus but not necessary. We welcome people with little formal experience who can compare files, name them clearly and keep a record of a request’s status. Organising materials for a course, event or small project could provide relevant examples.

The position calls for a willingness to pause when instructions conflict. If a colleague sends a replacement image after an earlier item was marked ready, you would update the status and alert the publisher rather than assuming the change will be noticed. A home office setup can help you review details and maintain a clear queue. Remote full-time or part-time work may be available, with pay of £30.50-£32.50 per hour.

Selection information

Applications can show relevant experience with file organisation, checking links or coordinating small pieces of a project. You do not need to call that experience 'marketing' if it happened elsewhere. The employer can teach the campaign checklist, so accuracy and communication are the starting strengths to demonstrate.

If you're selected for the next step, you may be asked to complete an application on the hiring company's website. The hiring team can explain how its marketing requests are assigned when it reviews your application.
