We are recruiting for a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner to cover Kent and with regional travel.

As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing support to existing clients and new referrals, by conducting a range of PBS assessments and developing and implementing PBS plans with the client and their families. You will ensure the care teams are supported with any training and supervision. You will work with the client and extended team to review and revise the care provision as needed.

About you

  • A qualification in Positive Behaviour Support.
  • Registered with the UK-SBA or willing to work towards this.
  • Relevant experience in working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or other conditions that involve behavioural challenges.
  • At least 2 years of experience in direct support, such as working as a support worker, teacher’s assistant, rehab therapist.
  • Ability to translate PBS theory into practical, usable strategies for teams.
  • Experience conducting behavioural assessments, such as Functional Behavioural Assessments (FBAs).
  • Implementing behaviour support plans (BSPs) tailored to individual needs.
  • You will have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available) as well as a full UK driving licence.
