We are recruiting for an OFSTED Registered Manager for a new children’s home on the outskirts of Dover. Although this is for a new home you will be joining an established business of over 20 years that has been providing complex care to adults and children in their own homes across the Southeast.
This new venture has been brought about by the need for some of our paediatric clients requiring residential services, in order to extend the current offering, keep children close to their families and provide the quality care they need.
The home will support 3 to 4 children with complex physical needs and you will have an extensive team to tap into, including paediatric nurse managers and an established operational team.
RequirementsWhat you will have is:
- Extensive experience of managing a good or outstanding OFSTED regulated home
- Level 3 in children’s residential care
- Preferably Level 5 in Leadership in Management
- Strong operational and commercial experience
- If you have set up a new children’s home before then this would be an advantage
- Strong values in terms of delivering quality care
- If you have a clinical background that would be an advantage but not a necessity
- You will have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available) as well as a full UK driving licence
