HRS Healthcare are recruiting for a Deputy Manager for a 4 bed Children’s home in Coventry.

About the Deputy Manager role:

  • Work alongside the Home Manager in all aspects of running the home, including compliance, safeguarding, and quality assurance, ensuring that the home aligns with our values and standards and financial planning.
  • Lead and inspire a team, providing supervision, appraisal, professional development, and training.
  • Manage the home effectively in the absence of the Registered Manager.
  • Ensure a safe, homely environment and maintain high standards of care.
  • Manage health and safety protocols, risk assessments, and ensure compliance of training for the team.
  • Liaise with professionals and contribute to care planning.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 in Children’s and Young Peoples Workforce Qualification
  • At least 1 years’ experience as a Senior Residential Care worker in a Children’s Home
  • Flexibility to be able to work shifts that include evenings and weekends and sleep ins
  • Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK
