As a complex care coordinator, you will be planning and rostering care staff into shifts and ensure that the care workers and nurses that are responsible for delivering care and support on a day-to-day basis attend their shifts as planned.

About the role

  • The care coordinator will organise rotas a month in advance for the complex care clients.
  • Building and developing strong relationships with staff members (carers and nurses).
  • Building and developing strong relationships with clients.
  • Obtaining staff availability.
  • Communicate with staff and clients in a respectful, professional, and friendly manner.
  • On call responsibility.

Requirements

About you

  • You will have strong communication skills both over the phone and via written communication.
  • You will be a problem solver, quick thinker and solution driven.
  • You will have worked in care and ideally will have coordination/rota experience.
  • You will have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence.

  • Our client will offer you a salary of £30,000.
  • Mon to Fri 9am – 5pm, plus on call is 1 in 5 weekends (this could reduce in time) and 1 evening/morning per week (1700 - 2300/0600 - 0900).
  • Initially remote based (Essex) with 1 day a week in the Brighton office (additional trips to Brighton office as required).
