HRP Education (HRPE) is a specialist alternative education provider based in the West Midlands. We work with young people who haven't been able to stay in mainstream school, including students with EHCPs and those with complex SEMH needs. Our focus is on supporting students who have been excluded, experienced trauma, or have been let down before.
What the work actually looks like:
- You will work 1:1 with a small number of students, mostly in their home or local community.
- Every young person you work with will have a Therapeutic Tutoring Plan written specifically for them - their needs, their goals, their pace.
- Sessions are about building a relationship, creating safety, and supporting genuine progress when the young person is ready.
- We use trauma-informed approaches throughout, including training in therapeutic parenting and PACE methodology.
