HRM Homecare Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Rutherglen/Cambuslang. The Support Worker role involves providing essential care and support to individuals within their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and medication support.
  • Support clients to engage in meaningful activities and community involvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and report any changes in clients' needs or well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure coordinated care delivery.
  • Promote a safe and comfortable environment for clients.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a support or care role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including availability for some weekends and evenings.
  • Willingness to undertake training and development.
  • Disclosure Scotland (PVG) Check will be required.

Desirable:

  • Qualification in health and social care is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of care standards and legislation.
