Help Build One of Scotland's Newest Healthcare Staffing Providers

This isn't just another Nurse Manager vacancy... It's an opportunity to build something from the ground up. We're launching an ambitious new nursing agency supplying highly skilled nursing and healthcare professionals to the NHS, Local Authorities, residential care homes, care at home providers, and other healthcare organisations across Scotland.

We're looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Nurse Manager who wants more than simply managing an existing service. We want someone who is excited by the challenge of creating a high-quality, respected agency that becomes the provider of choice for both clients and healthcare professionals.

If you've ever wanted the freedom to shape a service, build a team, develop new business and make your mark on an organisation, this is your opportunity.

Why This Role is Different

  • Build and develop a brand-new nurse agency from day one
  • Recruit and lead your own team of nurses and healthcare professionals
  • Develop contracts with NHS Boards, Local Authorities and independent care providers
  • Shape policies, clinical governance and operational systems
  • Influence the future growth of the business
  • Become a key member of our senior leadership team

We're looking for someone who sees opportunity where others see challenge.

The Role

As Nurse Manager, you will have overall responsibility for establishing and managing a professional nursing agency supplying temporary and permanent nursing staff to healthcare providers throughout Scotland. You'll lead all aspects of the service, including:

  • Developing and growing the agency
  • Recruiting, mentoring and supporting nursing staff
  • Building relationships with NHS Boards, Local Authorities and independent care providers
  • Ensuring safe staffing and high-quality service delivery
  • Maintaining clinical governance and regulatory compliance
  • Managing rotas, workforce planning and agency operations
  • Driving business development and identifying new opportunities
  • Delivering an outstanding experience for both clients and agency staff

Requirements

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Has management experience within nursing, healthcare staffing or community services
  • Understands NHS and healthcare workforce requirements
  • Has experience working with agency staffing, workforce planning or complex clinical services
  • Is commercially aware and enjoys developing new business opportunities
  • Has excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Wants to build a successful service rather than simply maintain one

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Career progression opportunities
  • Supportive and dynamic working environment
  • Opportunity to shape and grow a service
