HRLife are excited to be working with a small but market leading business to find their next HR Manager. Reporting into the CEO and working closely with the senior leaders, this is a broad generalist role which offers lots of variety with a real focus on people, performance and culture.
This is a great opportunity to work with the leaders, look at what is currently in place and embed new ways of working and introduce new initiatives to enhance the employer brand, attract great talent while ensuring all the essential foundations of HR are in place and working well. The business prides itself on being collaborative and informal, and is looking to hire someone with new and fresh ideas. You’ll be able to work strategically but also roll your sleeves up and get stuck into the detail and manage the day to day operational HR too.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Design and execute a recruitment strategy that attracts great people, reduces reliance on agencies and enhances the EVP and candidate experience
- Design and deliver a highly effective onboarding process
- Working closely with managers to identify "high-potential" employees and create robust succession and retention plans
- Design and deliver various training programmes that are suited to both office and field-based teams
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle administration, from onboarding to offboarding
- Maintain and update HR policies in line with UK employment law, providing expert advice to managers on complex Employee Relations cases
- Provide HR data insights to support business leaders in their decision making
- Lead culture-shaping projects that boost morale and ensure every employee feels a sense of purpose aligned with the company mission
- Lead all engagement activities, ensuring actions are embedded
- Drive reward and recognition initiatives from salary reviews to monthly incentives
- Managing the HRIS, ensuring all data and records are maintained
This is a great role for someone who likes to be busy, partner with senior managers and be visible in a successful business. Hybrid working available. Parking onsite. Happy to consider 4 or 5 days a week. Salary 50-60k plus benefits.
