You will enjoy being visible, adding value and partnering with Regional Directors and Managers to create a positive, high performing workforce. Working as part of a wider HR team, this is a broad generalist role where no two days are the same and would suit someone who is used to getting stuck in to the day to day as well as embedding new ways of working and getting involved in wider HR projects. If you have previous experience of partnering with a field based, operational workforce then we would love to hear from you!

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand their teams and business priorities and help shape and influence business decisions.
  • Lead on all ER cases to ensure outcomes.
  • Embed L&D initiatives and deliver training sessions to ensure employees feel supported and developed.
  • Work with managers on succession planning and talent management initiatives.
  • Using data and reports to analyse trends to identify any issues and provide proactive solutions to managers.

  • Looking at outcomes from the engagement survey and translating them into actions and improvements and working with managers to embed them.

This is a great opportunity for someone who really wants to make a difference - you will be integral to elevating the HR support the business receives, building great relationships with key stakeholders and being visible and part of all decision making. If you love being 'out and about' with your managers and not stuck in the same office all week then this is a brilliant opportunity to get close to the people and add value. You can base yourself at one of their offices 2-3 days a week and then 'on the road' as required visiting other sites and meeting regional Managers and Directors. Locations include sites across M4 / M3 Corridor - South and South West UK including Surrey / Berkshire / Hampshire and Wiltshire.

CIPD Level 5 would be an advantage. Salary - c.50k plus car allowance and benefits.
