HRLife are excited to be working with a well-known business in London to find them a generalist HR Advisor. The role will be based in London 4 days a week with 1 day a week at home, suitable for someone who loves building relationships, being visible and enjoys spending time with their employees and managers.
Working with an exceptional Head of HR, you will be helping to support new initiatives, promote new ways of working during a busy time of change whilst ensuring the day-to-day HR operations run smoothly.
You'll have a generalist background with good employment law knowledge and experience of managing ER cases from start to finish on a range of issues including absence, performance, disciplinaries and grievances.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing activities related to on-boarding and off-boarding including issuing offer letters, contracts, reviewing right to work documents etc.
- Support L&D initiatives, running 1:1 coaching sessions and group coaching sessions on various topics such as lunch and learns or bite-size employment law updates.
- Updating and maintaining the HRIS.
- Support the Head of HR with monthly payroll data - inputting changes and producing reports.
- Advise and support employees and managers on all HR related policies.
- Provide advice and guidance to managers on OH referrals, absence management issues and return to work cases.
- Support managers with probationary meetings.
- Oversee the performance management process ensuring clear objectives, regular feedback and fair appraisals.
- Contribute to wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
- Ad-hoc HR projects.
