HRIT People is proud to be working with a globally recognised and respected brand with over 59,000 employees globally. Currently, the HR Systems and Culture team is seeking a Project Manager to join them. This is a heads-down role you'll be the trusted anchor for a close-knit technical team, not a stakeholder-touring generalist.
A high-performing HR Data and AI team operating within a global SAP SuccessFactors environment is growing, and they need a Project Manager who can grow with them. This isn't about attending every meeting or managing upward; it's about sitting close to the work, understanding it deeply, and making sure a talented, fast-moving team stays on track.
The team currently consists of three HR Systems data professionals, who are truly driven by creativity and structure. They have a high level of autonomy to explore, implement, and develop data, automation, and AI topics in the HRIS environment for this organisation globally; a really talented and collaborative unit.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Acting as the operational backbone of a specialist HR data and AI team, owning delivery, managing priorities, and keeping work moving.
- Bridging the gap between data engineers, architects, and HR stakeholders; translating technical complexity without losing the detail.
- Tracking risks, dependencies, and progress with genuine precision, this team needs someone who takes that seriously.
- Supporting an evolving roadmap across data pipelines, AI automation, and HR systems transformation.
- Being the go-to person the team trusts to hold things together as the function scales (you will not lead this team - you will embed yourself in them as a side-kick).
What We're Looking For:
- Project management experience in an HR systems or HR technology environment; this is non-negotiable (5+ years).
- Genuine exposure to AI, automation, or data-led transformation projects, ideally within HR / P&C.
- Experience managing risk, developing frameworks, and keeping structure in a matrix organisation.
- Technical fluency, you don't need to write code, but you need to be comfortable in the room with people who do.
- High emotional intelligence, this team blends creative and structured thinkers, and you'll need to bring balance without friction.
- A doer mindset, someone who takes ownership, tracks the details, and doesn't need to be chased.
- Strong written and verbal communication, but no appetite for politics or performative stakeholder management.
What This Isn't:
This is not a role for a generalist HR Systems or SAP SuccessFactors Project Manager looking for their next implementation. If you've spent your career running steering committees and presenting RAG statuses to senior leadership, this probably isn't the right fit. If you've been the trusted, precise, technically-literate PM that a specialist team couldn't function without, we want to hear from you.
Location & Package:
- Hybrid/remote with regular presence in the London or Hertfordshire region.
- Salary up to £90,000 depending on experience.
Sustainable, Inclusive, Developmental - for more details about this fantastic team, opportunity and project - feel free to apply or reach out to.
