Location: Europe (Flexible) Level: Senior Professional Function: People & Culture / HR Transformation. London / Hertfordshire region preferred.
About the Opportunity:
We are partnering with a leading global organisation to find an experienced and delivery-focused People & Culture (P&C) Project Manager. This is a high-impact role sitting within a P&C Data, Automation and AI function, working at the intersection of HR, data, technology and business transformation. If you thrive in complex, cross-functional environments and have a passion for turning ambiguity into clear, actionable plans, this could be the role for you.
The Role:
You will take ownership of coordinating and delivering a portfolio of P&C initiatives spanning data governance, reporting, integrations, insights and business self-service. Working alongside P&C Data Management teams, Product Owners, Global Process Owners, IT and HR Controlling, you will be the person who keeps multiple workstreams aligned, decisions moving and delivery on track. This is not a purely administrative role. It requires genuine ownership, structured thinking and the confidence to engage with both senior stakeholders and operational teams in equal measure.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Driving project delivery across P&C data, reporting, process and self-service workstreams — maintaining roadmaps, milestones, action logs and delivery status
- Running governance and decision forums — preparing materials, tracking decisions, maintaining logs and ensuring follow-through
- Coordinating stakeholders across business, process, data and technology — aligning expectations and enabling cross-functional collaboration
- Managing risks and dependencies — identifying blockers early, escalating where needed and creating visibility for capacity and resource planning
- Supporting change management and communications — helping translate complex topics into clear messages for relevant forums and audiences
- Leading transition to BAU — ensuring robust handover, ownership and support models are in place before project closure
- Building domain knowledge across P&C processes and platforms (e.g. SuccessFactors, Power BI, Snowflake, AWS, Azure) to better connect business needs with delivery
- Continuously improving ways of working — reducing duplication, simplifying delivery and contributing to lessons learned
What We're Looking For:
Experience & Skills
- 10 years of project management experience, ideally in a matrix or cross-functional organisation
- Proven track record delivering complex, multi-workstream initiatives end-to-end
- Strong stakeholder management — comfortable presenting to senior leaders and working with operational teams
- Solid understanding of change management, communication planning and adoption activities
- Familiarity with P&C/HR processes and HR data concepts (experience with systems such as SuccessFactors is advantageous)
- Experience with agile delivery and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills — able to simplify complex topics for different audiences
Personal Attributes
- Self-starter who takes ownership and follows through
- Structured thinker who creates clarity in ambiguous environments
- Collaborative and open — enjoys working across teams
- Curious and adaptable — comfortable with evolving tools, methods and priorities
- Strong attention to documentation, governance and information management
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, Project Management or a related field
- A project management certification is beneficial — PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum or SAFe
- Fluent English essential; additional European languages are a plus
Why Apply?
This is a rare opportunity to join a globally recognised organisation at a pivotal moment in its People & Culture data transformation. You will have genuine scope to shape how P&C initiatives are delivered, improve governance and make a lasting impact on how data and insights are used across the business.
