HRIT People is excited to work with a creative and digital market leader with over 3,000 employees, using Workday HCM as their core HR system. The organisation is headquartered in central London. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the team is seeking a People Systems Analyst to focus on building Power BI skills and a consultative mindset to support the HR team in leveraging data to drive strategic future decisions. The ideal candidate will be experienced in HR systems, reporting, and analytics, and have a proven ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Power BI Reporting & Dashboarding
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports focused on workforce data, DEI, engagement, turnover, and other people metrics.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency by creating robust data models and using Power Query effectively.
- Automate reporting processes and create scalable solutions for recurring data needs.
- HR Systems & Data Management
- Work with HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, etc.) to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with IT and HR teams to ensure seamless integration between systems and data pipelines.
- Support system upgrades, testing, and data governance efforts as needed.
- Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to HRBPs, Talent, and other stakeholders by providing insights and data-driven recommendations.
- Support workforce planning, organizational design, and strategic people initiatives through analytics.
- Conduct deep dives and ad hoc analyses to answer complex business questions.
- Continuous Improvement & Strategy
- Identify opportunities to optimize reporting and analytics processes.
- Stay up to date with Power BI best practices and HR analytics trends.
- Contribute to the evolution of the organisation’s people data strategy and roadmap.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HR analytics, people systems, or business intelligence roles.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Experience working with HR systems and workforce data.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience with Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar HRIS.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, or other data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of HR metrics, compliance, and data privacy practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management experience.
This is a Hybrid Position with a diverse and nationwide team. The London workforce spends 3 days per week in the office, close to Kings Cross Station, London.
Compensation: Paying up to £53,000 Per Annum. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
