The Role: We are looking for highly motivated Aircraft Engine Maintenance Technicians to support the most exciting engine platforms in the defence sector, including the legendary F/A 18 Super Hornet’s F414 engine, the F135 engine that powers the F35 Lightning II, and the M1 Abrams AGT1500 Tank engine.

Your duties include:

  • Performing heavy engine maintenance activities including strip, detailed inspection, and assembly
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with approved publications, technical data, and work instructions
  • Maintaining documentation of work in progress
  • Performing maintenance supervisory/inspection duties as specified by aviation regulators
  • Continually looking for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Taking all reasonable steps to ensure own safety and the safety of others

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certificate III or IV mechanical trade qualification
  • Demonstrable knowledge of strip, detailed inspection and assembly of the gas turbine engine
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience working within airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements
  • The ability to maintain documentation of work in progress and composition of maintenance worksheets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals to meet regulatory requirements
  • A passion and drive to deliver to keep customers flying
