The role responsibilities include:
- Goods Receipt & Despatch – Receive, inspect, pick, pack and despatch components and materials.
- Inventory Management – Maintain accurate stock records, cycle counts, stocktakes and shelf-life controls using Quantum ERP.
- Materials Handling – Safely manage material movement, storage systems, forklifts and hazardous goods.
- Quality & Compliance – Maintain accurate documentation, action NCRs and meet aerospace quality and regulatory requirements.
- Safety & Continuous Improvement – Maintain 5S, safe working practices and contribute to ongoing warehouse improvements.
Required skills, experience and qualifications:
- Certificate III in Warehousing Operations/Logistics or similar.
- Current Forklift Licence.
- Previous stores, warehousing or logistics experience, ideally within aerospace, defence, aviation, engineering or manufacturing.
- Experience with Quantum ERP or another inventory/ERP system.
- Sound inventory management and stock control skills.
- Experience handling dangerous or hazardous goods will be highly regarded.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to inventory accuracy.
- A safety-first approach and understanding of good warehouse housekeeping practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to identify and support process improvements.
