The role responsibilities include:

  • Goods Receipt & Despatch – Receive, inspect, pick, pack and despatch components and materials.
  • Inventory Management – Maintain accurate stock records, cycle counts, stocktakes and shelf-life controls using Quantum ERP.
  • Materials Handling – Safely manage material movement, storage systems, forklifts and hazardous goods.
  • Quality & Compliance – Maintain accurate documentation, action NCRs and meet aerospace quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Safety & Continuous Improvement – Maintain 5S, safe working practices and contribute to ongoing warehouse improvements.

Required skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Warehousing Operations/Logistics or similar.
  • Current Forklift Licence.
  • Previous stores, warehousing or logistics experience, ideally within aerospace, defence, aviation, engineering or manufacturing.
  • Experience with Quantum ERP or another inventory/ERP system.
  • Sound inventory management and stock control skills.
  • Experience handling dangerous or hazardous goods will be highly regarded.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to inventory accuracy.
  • A safety-first approach and understanding of good warehouse housekeeping practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to identify and support process improvements.
