The role responsibilities include:
- Assemble various components including stators, rotors, windings, housings, and hardware.
- Perform wiring, soldering, and electrical interconnection tasks per engineering drawings.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, test equipment, and measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and work instructions.
- Conduct basic functional testing including insulation resistance and continuity checks.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness, and safety
Skills And Experiences
Required skills, experience and qualifications:
- Trade qualification in Electrical, Electro-mechanical, or similar field
- Proven experience in Electrical wiring and component assembly or Mechanical assembly and fabrication
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and SOPs.
- Familiarity with precision torqueing, alignment, and assembly tools.
- Ability to perform basic electrical tests (multimeter, megger, etc.).
- Ability to use a range of hand and power tools
- Knowledge of panel wiring, switchboards, or electrical control systems
- Ability to manage your own time and complete tasks efficiently
- Computer literacy with regards to understanding of 3D models and extraction of key data to support production
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments (Highly Desirable)
- Dual-trade background (Electrical + Mechanical) is a bonus
