About the Role:

As an HR Business Partner for our client's UK Marketing team, you will provide comprehensive HR services, focusing on talent attraction, retention, and development. You will collaborate closely with marketing leaders to enhance current capabilities per future growth plans. Additionally, you will partner with the commercial team in Australia, playing an active role in the ongoing development of HR/People activities across the business, driving our goal to be a great place to work, grow, and develop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the People Review Agenda: Partner with the senior leadership team to identify current and future needs, providing innovative and fit-for-purpose resource and capability solutions.
  • Reward Activities: Oversee salary and incentives reviews, incentives programmes, and the general benefits offering.
  • Developmental Solutions: Deliver high-quality developmental solutions eg career conversations and powerful PDPs.
  • Capability Programme: Drive the capability programme with the senior leadership team.
  • Australian Team Connection: Maintain strong connections with the Australian team supporting people-related activities and creating a connection back to the UK.
  • Graduate Scheme: Design, develop, and lead a graduate scheme to build an internal pipeline.
  • Employee Relations: Manage and take ownership of all employee relations activities across the Marketing team.
  • Recruitment: Lead recruitment activities using innovative approaches to find and secure the best talent.
  • Team Integration: Be an integral part of the marketing team, identifying interventions to enhance overall performance.
  • Coaching and Advising: Coach and advise line managers to have high-quality conversations with their teams and guide their judgement on important people activities.

Support Responsibilities:

  • HR Function Support: Provide support to colleagues across the HR function, including more junior team members.
  • Talent Retention: Identify and implement plans to enhance our ability to find and retain the best talent through employee endearment and value proposition activities.
  • Development Programmes: Support internal development programmes by working with participants in Marketing on their ongoing development.
  • Performance Review: Embed the performance review programme within Marketing, working with the senior team to enhance its quality year on year.

About You:

  • Experience: Proven experience working with Commercial/Marketing functions in an FMCG business.
  • Passion: A strong passion for developing a high-quality people agenda that drives the business forward.
  • Hybrid HR Role: Experience in a hybrid HR role involving business partnering and operational HR activities.
