An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stores Manager to lead and manage the operations of a busy main stores department, as well as a small electrical assembly area. The Role

The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the stores team, ensuring efficient processes, quality control, and adherence to health and safety standards. They will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and couriers to ensure the seamless management of stock and goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the stores team, ensuring efficient booking in/out processes and stock accuracy.
  • Oversee goods-in procedures, quality checks, and reporting discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and perform valuations to ensure operational readiness.
  • Manage data entry using CRM systems (e.g., Pegasus Opera, Salesforce) and produce reports on KPI targets.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, accounts, and manufacturing departments to support business operations.
  • Ensure proper storage, safety, and control of stock items, maintaining a clean and organised environment.
  • Supervise electrical assembly operations, including planning and process development.
  • Handle staff management, including absences, annual reviews, and performance evaluations.
