This high tech engineering software company are seeking to cultivate a strong online presence within the machining sector, primarily through video content on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. In this outward-facing role, you will be a public representative showcasing our views and products to the world.
Your enthusiasm and creativity will be vital in creating compelling content, including viral videos, engaging machining tutorials, and social media materials that position the brand as experts in the machining field while demonstrating how our technology enhances user experiences in manufacturing settings.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Being the face of viral videos, reacting to industry trends, creating engaging machining content, and presenting in various settings, including factory environments and other locations.
- Staying updated on the latest advancements in manufacturing technologies and collaborating with the marketing team to generate innovative content ideas.
- Effectively presenting software solutions to the public.
- Preparing and setting up machines for filming, including tooling and workholding.
Essential Qualifications:
- Externally facing communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly on camera.
- Awareness of trending machining content on social media platforms.
- Engineering background with hands-on experience operating CNC machines and producing metal components.
- Practical knowledge of measuring tools, equipment, and concepts, including an understanding of appropriate tooling for specific tasks and the advantages of best practices.
- A solid understanding of machining processes, with the ability to diagnose production issues confidently.
- Experience with 5-axis machining and the associated production processes.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in offline CNC programming.
- Familiarity with Siemens NX, Mastercam, and Fusion software.
- Experience with Siemens or DMG machine tools.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
