This is a hybrid role requiring three days a week in the office. We are working with an exciting and ambitious pure play business as they look to recruit an Ecommerce Trading Manager to join their growing eCommerce and Marketing team. This would be a great opportunity for someone who wants real ownership and the freedom to shape the on-site customer experience. This is a role with autonomy, pace and a genuine chance to make a visible difference.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing you will take the lead on how the site trades day to day, how customers browse and how they convert. You will be the internal expert on Shopify, merchandising, UX and optimisation, working closely with marketing, product, trading and an external web agency.
The role:
- Own on-site trading across PLPs, PDPs and homepage.
- Improve merchandising around availability, seasonality, promotions and commercial priorities.
- Use Shopify and third-party tools to enhance ordering, filters and visibility.
- Lead CRO activity using GA4, heatmaps and session insights.
- Run tests and implement changes that lift conversion.
- Work with teams across the business to improve journeys and customer experience.
What we are looking for:
- Strong background in ecommerce trading, merchandising or optimisation.
- Confident with Shopify, ideally Shopify Plus.
- Experience in scaling eCommerce sites.
- Comfortable analysing data and identifying opportunities.
- Collaborative, curious and commercially minded.
