Overall Responsibilities

We are recruiting both trainee and experienced support workers to join our team to work with teenagers within care homes, educational settings, and semi‑independent living accommodations. The ideal candidate is a reliable person who wants to make a difference in young people’s lives by providing quality care. You must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and written.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build strong professional relationships.
  • Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
  • Safeguard service users from any form of abuse.
  • Write accurate reports for reviews and keep written records for monitoring purposes.
  • Attend work reliably and punctually.
  • Deliver high‑quality care to residents in compliance with all regulations, legislation and procedures.
  • Carry out any additional duties as required to meet the needs of specific residents.

Service User Profile

We support young people aged 13 to 21 years who are within the care system. They may have various disorders, behaviours, and needs, including mental health and emotional difficulties. This position involves providing guidance, interaction and support to help teenagers and young adults become fully independent by creating a safe environment that promotes their intellectual, spiritual, social and emotional needs. Tasks include supporting skills such as meal preparation, social activities, family contact, education and shopping.
