About the Company

Our client, a long established leading Glasgow City law firm, offers a high quality and personalised legal service to businesses and private clients across Scotland. Their services include a bespoke service for their business clients offering advice in commercial real estate, corporate and commercial matters and employment, as well as advising on wills, succession planning, executry, house purchase & sale and personal injury for our private clients.

About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a real estate lawyer to join their commercial property team. Headed up by two partners, the commercial property team combines a wide range of legal and commercial skills, offering the full range of services required for the property industry, including practical commercial advice on sale & purchases, acquisitions, commercial leasing and development.

Responsibilities

  • The role will involve managing and running existing client portfolios.
  • Working with the partners on complex cases.
  • Running your own client files whilst assisting clients to achieve their aims.
  • Dealing directly with clients and meeting new people, as you provide a personalised legal service to their client base.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must have commercial property experience.
  • Ideally applicants will be circa 2-4 years post qualified although there is flexibility around this.

Required Skills

  • Admitted as a Solicitor in Scotland
  • Current and unrestricted practising certificate
  • Experience working as a private practice commercial real estate lawyer
  • Strong communications skills.

Pay range and compensation package
