We are a leading recruitment agency for an FMCG manufacturer who is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support their high-speed production facility. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring maximum equipment uptime, safety, and continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on FMCG production lines
- Diagnose and fault-find electrical, control, and automation issues to minimise downtime
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, drives, sensors, and control panels
- Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and food industry standards
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records
Key Requirements
- Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / HNC / equivalent)
- Proven experience in an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding skills on electrical and control systems
- PLC experience
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to breakdowns effectively
- Flexible approach to shift work
