We are currently recruiting for a versatile Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established business. This is a varied, hands-on role combining site-based maintenance with field-based engineering support, offering the opportunity to work both within a production environment and at customer sites.

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for maintaining and improving production machinery, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance, and supporting the installation and servicing of specialist equipment in the field.

Key Duties:

  • Planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
  • Mechanical fault finding and basic electrical troubleshooting
  • Supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime
  • Installing, servicing, and commissioning machinery at customer sites
  • Providing basic training and support to customers

About You:

  • Strong mechanical engineering background
  • Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Basic electrical knowledge is advantageous
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and willing to travel (primarily UK-based)
  • Full UK driving licence required
