We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias to join a leading FMCG company in the Glasgow area. In this role, you will ensure machinery and equipment are maintained, repaired, and serviced to ensure maximum efficiency, working with high-speed bottling lines and packing machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
- Diagnose faults and repair machinery to high standards.
- Address recurring defects and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain engineering documentation, including manuals and risk assessments.
Requirements:
- Recognized engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong electrical engineering skills, including fault finding, repair, and installation.
Shift Example: The role follows a continuous day shift pattern: 7 shifts over 14 days (07:45-20:00). Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday.
Whats on offer:
- 3-month contract (with potential for permanent role for the right person)
- £35 p/h (PAYE)
