Are you a skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong background in industrial maintenance? A well-established manufacturing site based in Ayrshire is looking for a proactive, hands-on engineer to support ongoing operations in a high-demand production environment. Purpose of the Role:
To carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on a wide range of plant and production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency on a 4 on / 6 off shift rotation.
Are you who we\’re looking for?
- Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven experience in maintaining electrical systems within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
- Skilled in fault-finding and diagnostics across motors, drives, control panels, and automation systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs, high-voltage equipment, and safety control systems is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, continuous production setting.
- Strong adherence to Health & Safety standards and a proactive attitude to risk prevention.
- A team player with solid communication skills and a solutions-focused approach.
