We are a leading recruitment agency for an FMCG manufacturer who is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support their high-speed production facility. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring maximum equipment uptime, safety, and continuous improvement across the site.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on FMCG production lines
  • Diagnose and fault-find electrical, control, and automation issues to minimise downtime
  • Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, drives, sensors, and control panels
  • Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and food industry standards
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records

Qualifications

  • Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / HNC / equivalent)
  • Proven experience in an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong fault-finding skills on electrical and control systems
  • PLC experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to breakdowns effectively
