We are working with a highly regarded law firm to recruit a talented Professional Indemnity Lawyer to join its established disputes team. You will join a market-leading professional indemnity team acting for major insurers and insured professionals across a broad range of claims. The caseload is varied and high-quality, including:

  • Defending professional negligence claims against solicitors, accountants, architects and other professionals
  • Coverage disputes and policy interpretation matters
  • Complex and high-value litigation in the Court of Session and Sheriff Courts
  • Managing cases from inception through to resolution

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to sophisticated work, collaborate with recognised specialists, and develop your expertise within a supportive and well-resourced team.

We are keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

  • 2–6 years' PQE with experience in professional indemnity, insurance litigation, or commercial disputes
  • Strong technical ability and confidence handling litigation matters
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach
  • A genuine interest in professional indemnity and insurance work
  • Experience acting for insurers or defence-side litigation is advantageous but not essential.
