An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced commercial real estate solicitor to join this highly regarded and growing real estate team. This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of complex and high-value transactions, with a particular focus on residential development work, supporting clients who are delivering much-needed housing projects across Scotland.
You'll join a collaborative and ambitious team with a strong reputation in the market and genuine opportunities for progression. You will advise a diverse client base including residential developers, housing associations, landowners, care home operators, and public sector organisations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading land acquisition and disposal transactions for residential and mixed-use developments
- Advising on greenfield and brownfield development projects
- Negotiating and drafting promotion agreements, option agreements and joint venture agreements
- Preparing Deeds of Conditions and DMS documentation for new developments
- Supporting corporate transactions through property due diligence work
- Managing complex matters from instruction through to completion
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
Applicants must have a minimum of 6 Yrs PQE and have a solid commercial property background. Applicants must be admitted as a Solicitor in Scotland and hold a current and unrestricted practising certificate.
